Fecal complaints

Got problem with your poop?

Fecal complaints can often present along with urinary complaints because the same muscle groups control the voiding of both areas, or can be present without any other related conditions.

Some common complaints are:

Constipation

anal fissures

Hemorroids

Incontinence (stools or gas)

Rectocele or rectal prolapse

These problems can be due to dysfunction in the Pelvic floor musclesand related structures. Often, a mix of education on your pathology, manual therapy, specific exercises, and mechanical modalities are required to resolve these issues.
