GENERAL INFORMATION
- Make sure you have reported your accident to the SAAQ so you can get your claim number and see a doctor as soon as possible.
- With this claim number and the medical prescription, we will send your request for treatment directly to the SAAQ. A reply is usually received within two weeks.
- If you wish to begin your treatments before you have the answer, it is possible to proceed as long as you begin. However, if your file is refused by the SAAQ, you will not be reimbursed for any appointments that have taken place.
- You will need to meet with your physiotherapist or occupational therapist 2 or 3 times a week.
- The first authorized treatment is 20 treatments. If your medical team deems it necessary to continue, we can send a request for a second block to the SAAQ.
