Olga Sofia Ramos da Silva Vieira

Olga graduated in 2011 from a renowned Portuguese university with her degree in physiotherapy. After graduation, Olga decided to challenge herself by working with an international clientele on several cruise ships for a major international provider of Health, Wellness and Fitness services. After that journey, she then worked in the private sector in Portugal as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, treating conditions in all age groups, ranging from acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, physical deconditioning, neurological dysfunctions and respiratory dysfunctions.

Her thirst for learning and exploring the world brought her to McGill University, where she obtained her Physiotherapy Equivalency Certificate and she is a member of the OPPQ - Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec. Since moving to Montreal, she has worked in the private sector as she developed her studies in the McKenzie/MDT method. For several years now, she pursued her passion for perineal and pelvic floor physiotherapy, intervening in pre and post-partum recovery and education, urinary incontinence and urgency, anorectal disorders, pelvic pain, and other conditions. This is an area she continues to develop with multiple continuing education courses each year. 

Having suffered multiple injuries, she knows the importance of being an active participant in your own recovery. She is passionate about helping people at all stages of their life, with special emphasis on women's health. With Olga, you can expect a relaxed, empathetic and dynamic approach based on education, active listening and support, discussing realistic ways to achieve your goals with our intervention.
